A one-off Jaguar F-PACE SUV is set for a starring role at The Confused.com London Motor Show in celebration of its recent double win at the World Car of the Year Awards in New York. It is the first time a British car has ever won World Car of the Year, and the F-PACE also picked up World Car Design of the Year.
The F-PACE has been an exceptional success story for the British brand, becoming its fastest-selling vehicle and receiving industry-wide recognition. Jaguar’s first SUV saw off the challenges of the Mercedes E-Class, BMW i3 and Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman to scoop the coveted prize, and the car will turn on the style at The Confused.com London Motor Show.
From 4-7 May 2017 at Battersea Evolution in the heart of the capital, an F-PACE with unique World Car of the Year livery will go on display, alongside the iconic trophies it picked up in New York. Designed, developed and built in the UK, it’s a homecoming celebration for the F-PACE.
It will join a long list of exhibits in Battersea Park, where over 150 cars will go on display to the tens of thousands of spectators passing through the gates.
Alec Mumford, Chairman of The Confused.com London Motor Show, said: “We are delighted to welcome the F-PACE to Battersea Evolution and look forward to playing a big part in the World Car of the Year celebrations. The SUV has been a massive success for Jaguar since its launch and it fully deserves the accolades it’s landed. Our guests will certainly enjoy being in the presence of such a stunning model and will very much enjoy seeing one of the most coveted trophies in the automotive world.”
